3 men hospitalized following shooting in Fresno Tower District
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Three men are in the hospital after being shot and critically injured in the Tower District Sunday morning.
Fresno Police officers received several shot-spotter activations from Wishon and Olive avenues just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Two men were found on Wishon Avenue suffering from gunshot wounds.
A third shooting victim was found on Yosemite Avenue.
Police say all three people were taken to the hospital and although their wounds are serious, they are expected to survive.
A good portion of Olive Avenue was blocked off, making it difficult for people to resume business on Sunday after the Pride parade on Saturday.
Organizers from Fresno Rainbow Pride say Some 16,000 people were in attendance for the parade, the biggest pride celebration in Fresno history.

"In terms of everyone that was out celebrating progress, and family and love, it shouldn't be overshadowed," Splash Bar manager Trent Cross said. "All of the success of yesterday should not be overshadowed by those events."
Cross was at the bar early Sunday morning, but didn't hear the gunshots.
He hopes this latest shooting doesn't steer people away from gathering in the tower district.
"We pride ourselves on taking care of you, wanting you down. Making sure that everyone has every opportunity to feel safe while they're celebrating and partying," Cross said.
Officers are still searching for the gunman. There is no description of that person at this time.
